Disc Brake Caliper Ratchet Wrench Piston

Product Overview

Disc brake caliper ratchet wrench piston spreader compressor tool. 360° swing ratchet design for dual piston disc brake caliper compression.

Key Features

• Usage note: Due to the ratchet mechanism, both spreading plates require initial pressure to engage. Squeeze the plates for the first few swings until they reach the correct size to insert into the caliper, then proceed to swing normally.
• Suitable for most car and motorcycle dual piston disc brake calipers. Verify caliper piston spread range (1-1/2” to 2-5/8”) against your caliper dimensions before ordering.
• Slight colour difference may occur due to monitor display settings. Size tolerance of ±1–2cm may apply due to manual measurement.
• 360° Swing Ratchet Design – Access from Any Direction: 360° swing ratchet designed spreader for easy access and use from any direction. Long lever handle with swing action for expanding and retracting the spreading plates. Ideal for restricted brake caliper access in tight engine bays and wheel wells.
• Dual Piston Centre Ratchet – Even Force Distribution: Centre ratchet keeps dual spreading plates parallel throughout the compression stroke. Ensures even force distribution across both caliper pistons during compression, preventing caliper damage and piston dislocation on dual piston brake caliper systems.
• Spread Range 1-1/2” to 2-5/8” – Fits Most Disc Brake Calipers: Spreads from 1-1/2” to 2-5/8” (approx. 38–67mm), pushing caliper pistons back to provide sufficient room to install new brake pads on most car and motorcycle disc brake caliper systems.
• Magnetic Add-On Plates – Extended Range for Larger Calipers: Magnetic add-on plates snap directly onto the unit and are held securely in place by magnets. Install and remove quickly and easily to extend the working length range for larger disc brake calipers without additional tools.
• Reversing Switch – Easy Expand & Retract Conversion: Small positive and negative regulation switch on the ratchet allows easy conversion between expand and retract modes by simply flipping the reversing switch. Eliminates the need to remove and reposition the tool during brake pad replacement.
