Butterfly Disc Brake Piston Pad Spreader

Product Overview

Butterfly disc brake piston pad spreader and brake caliper compressor piston rewind tool for car and motorcycle disc brake systems. Chemically blackened steel spreader plates with chrome screws and connecting rods for durability and corrosion resistance.

Key Features

• Maximum spread 3-1/4 inch. Verify compatibility with your specific brake caliper piston diameter and caliper dimensions before ordering.
• Slight colour difference may occur due to monitor display settings. Size tolerance of ±1–2mm may apply due to manual measurement.
• Efficient Piston Rewind – Non-Destructive Caliper Piston Compression: Pushes disc brake caliper pistons backward without damaging the piston surface or piston seal during brake pad replacement and caliper service. Provides controlled, even compression across the brake caliper piston face for safe and non-destructive piston retraction on car and motorcycle disc brake calipers.
• Chemically Blackened Steel Plates – Chrome Screws and Connecting Rods: Spreader plates are chemically blackened steel for corrosion resistance and durability during repeated workshop brake maintenance use. Chrome screws with connecting rods provide smooth thread engagement and long service life. Each spreader plate measures 2 inch × 2-1/4 inch. Maximum spread 3-1/4 inch.
• Tommy Bar Design – Ratchet Wrench and Spanner Compatible: Equipped with a tommy bar for manual operation. Compatible with a 1/2 inch drive ratchet wrench or 0.83 inch spanner for increased torque and compression force during stubborn brake caliper piston retraction and piston wind back operations.
• Three-Function Brake Tool – Piston Rewind, Wind Back, and Cylinder Pump Separator: Functions as a disc brake caliper piston rewind tool, brake piston wind back tool, and cylinder pump separator for versatile brake maintenance applications on car and motorcycle disc brake systems.
• 1 × butterfly disc brake piston pad spreader and caliper compressor piston rewind tool (black)
• Spreader Plate Material: Chemically blackened steel
